Japan Deluxe Tour Package – Our First Full Day Tour Review Part 2 of 2

Day 1 touring Japan on the Deluxe Tour Package (continued)

The Ginza drive through wasn’t much, but Asakusa was interesting. There were so many different “traditions” and rituals that people believe in for healing and health. Fortunes are a common novelty, and the shopping is fun.

Our lunch was very traditional and high quality. We found that throughout the trip no expense was spared on our food. Some people on the tour had a hard time eating such an abundance of Japanese food, but I personally loved every minute of our eating times.

After lunch, we took a ferry to the Hamarikyu Garden for a nice walk through it. The park had a 300 year old pine tree in it as well.

Our next stop was the Shinjuku District where we went on top of a very tall building to see all of Tokyo. After our viewing of the city, we went to a shopping district and spent a few hours shopping and looking around before dinner. For dinner, we all went to a shabu-shabu restaurant (which must have been pricey) to eat beef and vegetables that are quickly boiled on the table right in front of us. Watch the video for pictures.

Most of the hotels in Japan provide Yukata (robes) for guests. This is what I am wearing while filming the clip.
